What will you do?
- Act as the legal guardian for data protection, IT, and software law. Your assessments will be crucial in approving and adopting new corporate tools, systems, and data processing operations.
- Design, implement, and build new processes connected to privacy, data management, and security, actively participating in cross-functional projects.
- You will handle IT and software contracts and provide legal guidance on data protection and AI-related matters, including the legal assessment of new technologies, AI tools, and use cases.
- You will support the practical implementation of privacy requirements, including privacy by design, data mapping, records of processing activities, risk assessments, and data protection impact assessments.
- You will also oversee compliance and propose preventive measures where necessary
- On a regular basis, you will communicate with administrative authorities and third parties
- Sometimes you will provide support in litigation, claims or with contracts review and negotiation.
- And because every day is different at Notino, you'll also be involved in a variety of projects and activities
What do you need?
- You have a university degree in Czech/Slovak law, and you are well-versed in civil law, commercial law, labour law, etc.
- At least 3 years of experience, ideally as a corporate lawyer, but we also welcome experience in a law firm
- Background in data protection law or experience with privacy, IT, or data security projects would be a great advantage
- Experience with or an interest in AI regulation and the legal assessment of AI tools and use cases would also be an advantage.
- We are an international company, so you can't do without at least B2-level English, and you should also be able to handle English legal terminology
- Czech/Slovak language at a C2 level
- Above all, you should have a good sense of humour and enjoy working as part of a team :)
