Notino is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Media to lead our media planning and buying function across all markets. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for optimizing media investments to support brand growth and directly drive marketing and business KPIs. You’ll own the strategy, execution, and performance of media across online and offline channels, ensuring best-in-class buying conditions and maximum return on ad spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a holistic media strategy across paid channels (digital, TV, radio, OOH, print) to support both brand and performance marketing objectives.
- Optimize media mix and budget allocation across countries and platforms to maximize efficiency, reach, and impact, based on business priorities, performance data, and market opportunities.
- Directly support the achievement of marketing and commercial KPIs by driving efficient media investment and audience reach.
- Secure competitive pricing and value through effective negotiation and ongoing benchmarking against industry standards.
- Partner with local and central marketing teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with business priorities and consumer insights.
- Oversee relationships with media agencies, partners, and platforms to ensure high-quality execution, transparency, and innovation.
- Track, analyze, and report on media performance, using data-driven insights to guide investment decisions and continuous optimization.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and media technologies to keep Notino’s media strategy cutting-edge.
- Act as a thought leader internally on media strategy, educating stakeholders and elevating media excellence across the business.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in media planning and buying, ideally in a regional or international context.
- Strong understanding of both digital and traditional media channels.
- Demonstrated success in managing large media budgets and delivering measurable business results.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-first mindset.
- Proven track record in securing efficient media buying conditions through negotiations or agency partnerships.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Czech language; additional European languages are a plus.
