We are Notino, the number one online retailer in the beauty & health category in Europe. We continue to grow dynamically, both in terms of the number of Notino People, products and countries where we operate, as well as in terms of annual turnover. We operate in 27 countries and trade in more than 10 currencies!
As People & Business Partner, you’ll support our Commercial department. The team responsible for defining what we sell, negotiating with beauty brands and other suppliers, and ensuring we deliver the right products at the right value to our customers. Their work directly impacts our key KPIs and planned revenue.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with internal clients, particularly senior managers. You’ll act as a respected partner and coach, offering support in areas such as labour law, organisational design, HR processes, costs, change management, talent development and more.
- Being the primary point of contact for your business unit when it comes to implementing and communicating the HR strategy, core activities and standardised procedures.
- Supporting people managers in their daily HR-related needs and challenges, while also participating in wider HR projects and initiatives.
- Taking the lead in a selected area of the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding and adaptation, performance management, CSR), and acting as a connector between specialist HR teams, our team and the business.
- Working in partnership with another People & Business Partner for Commercial. Leading by example, sharing knowledge, aligning on priorities, fostering collaboration, and actively contributing to their development and alignment with team goals.
- Helping employees grow. Whether it’s about career progression, motivation, or simply offering a confidential space to talk.
- Handling employee relations matters confidently and with integrity, using legal and ethical principles to navigate complex situations.
- Co-creating and delivering the HR strategy for your department, including organisational design, training and development, budgeting, performance management and more.
- Promoting and living our company culture and values, both internally and externally.
- Contributing to team goals, sharing knowledge and supporting standardisation and problem-solving across HR.
- Getting involved in cross-functional and HR-wide projects, such as system upgrades, satisfaction surveys or preparation for Top Employer certification.
- Taking part in recruitment processes for selected key positions.
- Looking for ways to simplify, standardise and digitise HR processes.
- Representing Notino externally, whether on LinkedIn or during other employer branding activities.
What do we expect from you?
- A university degree, ideally in HR, law, or psychology.
- At least 5 years of solid HR experience (in a People/HR Business Partner role), ideally in two or more companies or in consultancy. We’re looking for someone well-versed in the full HR agenda. This isn’t a junior role.
- Experience working directly with people managers on various HR topics.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset. We value action and clarity over lengthy discussions.
- Strong business sense. You understand the bigger picture, can think strategically and break down complex topics.
- Confidence working with numbers and data, and the ability to turn analysis into real-world actions.
- A strong team spirit. We believe in #WinningAsATeam. Collaboration, openness and mutual support are key to how we work. Standardisation requires alignment, knowledge sharing and sometimes putting the team’s goals above individual preferences.
- Self-drive. We’ll support you, but the initiative needs to come from you.
- A healthy sense of humour, empathy and strong listening skills.
- Professional working English (min. B2). You may not use it every day now, but we’re growing internationally. The time will come.
- And finally, adaptability. Things change fast at Notino. If you need stability and predictability, this may not be the best fit.
What do we offer?
We’ll be honest, this role won’t be a walk in the park. Last months have been one of major transformation for the Commercial department (and others), setting the stage for the next decade. But the vision is clear: Notino as the most attractive employer in e-commerce. You can help shape that future and share in the success.
- We’re a young-minded and informal company. Ambitious, driven and proud of what we’ve achieved. Being part of the biggest beauty e-commerce player in Europe is meaningful work.
- You’ll find plenty of space to bring your ideas to life, work on new initiatives and take ownership of your projects.
- We work hard, but we also enjoy it. In a dynamic, fragrance-filled environment.
- We won’t pretend money doesn’t matter. We offer a fair salary that reflects your experience.
- We care deeply about continuous learning and will support your development both through internal opportunities and external learning - You will grow with us, and we will grow with you. #NewChallenge
- You can advance your skills with platforms like Seduo or LinkedIn Learning.
- We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home for an optimal work-life balance.
- You will enjoy a comprehensive employee benefits package, including Pluxee Cafeteria – 1600 CZK per month, increasing to 2000 CZK after one year, Multisport card, and discounted rates with T-Mobile or O2.
- Look forward to VIP prices at Notino and discounts with our partners such as Foodora, Samsung, Volkswagen, Infinit Maximus, and more.
- We offer 25 days of vacation and 1 My Day per year.
- We foster team spirit through numerous company events and team-building activities.
