What will you do?
- You will be responsible for the operational performance, reliability, and continuous optimization of automation technologies across our logistics network.
- You will ensure smooth day-to-day operation of automated packing lines, conveyor systems, and shuttle/ASRS solutions.
- You will drive OEE improvements, preventive and predictive maintenance, and downtime reduction initiatives.
- You will act as the main technical contact for automation partners, managing SLAs, service performance, and escalations.
- You will analyze failures, perform root cause analyses, and support commissioning of new technologies and upgrades.
- And because every day is different at Notino, you will also be involved in improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives.
What do you need?
Technical Skills
- Understanding of automated systems, conveyor technologies, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Knowledge of shuttle/ASRS technologies (RoboShuttle, AutoStore, Miniload).
- Ability to read technical documentation (mechanical, electrical, PLC schematics).
- Basic PLC diagnostics (Siemens / Allen Bradley is an advantage).
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to handle ad‑hoc issues and urgent operational situations (firefighting mindset).
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in a global environment.
- High level of reliability, accuracy, attention to detail, and focus on safety.
- Fluent English
